Looks like it _was_ a good app, but developers seem to have abandoned. Hasnt been updated in>3 years.
Good things first: very nice design! Its instantly appealing and one of the reasons why I bought the app. Negatives: no possibility to sort by wine style (red, white, ...); Also negative: the producer is the title of the label, not the name if the wine. Stupid if you have e.g. 12 wines from the same producer... Most of all tho Im annoyed that you cannot put in your own names for the wine like a "Cuvée Rosé" but have to deal with varietals and mix their percentage if its a cuvée... The same with the appellation (also a field you have to fill out like the others I mentioned) here you can only choose an appellation from the apps database... If it doesnt know the one your wine is from you cant customize it. All in all its not possible for me to use it to manage my wine cellar.
Robust but easy to use.
Nothing else like it. Its simply a pleasure organizing my cellar. Great stuff!
Love the drinking window feature. As someone who enjoys wine and knows “just enough to be dangerous” but truthfully, not a whole lot – its great to have a catalog of my bottles and a little guidance on the best time to open them. Overall, a very well done and easy to use app.
